The Secret Life of Antlered Girls

Tonight was the memorial for Craig. It was really wonderful. People told stories about him and played a song he loved (Heartbeats). I’m feeling like a wreck these days knowing how senseless Craig’s death was. It’s so sad to lose a friend and to know that he was lost because cycling is so dangerous here. Craig is one of the few men I know who work on anti-violence against women issues by starting SafeWalk with RightRides and who work tirelessly on anti-hunger efforts. It’s never fair when someone dies, but this is just so heartbreaking. Please come celebrate his life at this fundraiser on Friday. All the proceeds will go to the wonderful organization he worked for and cared deeply about.
