So, I made it here. I picked up my boat in Minneapolis and motored slowly down the river with my brilliant boater friend Porter Fox. The boat, docked up to Miss Rockaway here on the right, is a 16′ fishing boat, made possible by the kindness and support of a nice lady named Rebecca St. Claire, the nice folks who sold me the boat, Phil, Dave, Paul, Eli, John Hulk and the other nice folks on Marshall St. in Minneapolis. Mark from the motor shop who gave me solar panels and all the nice people on the river.

My boat now runs on solar power!

Woot!

Check back for updates. Gonna start recording stories soon when we leave Ducky’s Lagoon.

Leah T and I booked our tickets to come on the 16th. Will the boat be mobile at that time? From what Phil tells me, it’s been leaving tomorrow for a few weeks.
