screening tonight!

so it all starts on friday night. plum-blossoms gallery lovely lovely opening. art was fantastic. then over to elik's opening at the skewville gallery. tres amazing. then all the way to the burg for the parts and labor Aa show at river which was freezing and not my thing musically but fun nonetheless. then clinic escorting. then the so rad 'and so forth' conference. snowball fights, sledding and saturday night brooklyn adventuring antics including a boat visit in the gowanus canal. then sunday conference ending with the barbara hammer screening at UnionDocs www.uniondocs.org. what a weekend. here's the photo essay backwards and via blog. life is good.

tree climbing and snow pile diving on dekalb.
my girl rides sleds hard and gets injuries when orion eggs her on. she rode all way down the hill and over the wall--straight 5 or 6 foot drop on her stomach into the pavement with packed trampled on snow. damn girl.
the "finesse" sled at the fort greene park sledding gathering. this was ridiculous. one sled had a lawn chair and one had a baby seat. amazing.

these are the disgusting photos the monks lay out in front of the clinic for women to walk by. these pictures primarily come from photos of miscarriages taken hospital medical waste in the 80's. it's really sickening. none of them have anything to do with abortion.
so a vanload of terrifying ascetic franscican monks shows up to harass women going into the clinic and bring this stuff--note baby starter kit in the back--shampoo & diapers---one time gift only, unfortunately (does not include college tuition or therapist fees for being raised by unprepared or foster parents)
so saturday morning i was escorting at the abortion clinic i escort at. this is the "dragon lady" a terrifying anti. her picture was in tokion lookin gruesome a while ago.

big A little a and parts and labor at "river" in burg. this was thebathroom. it was a wooden platform you walked up steps onto with garbage bags cut into sheets for walls. just you shitting and 150 people. word. dirty.
people just kept piling the cans up at the opening.
